A design brief is something that is vital to any design project as it will provide the designer with all the information needed to exceed expectations. A design brief should primarily focus on the results and outcomes of the design and the business objectives of the design project. It should not attempt to deal with the aesthetics of design. The design brief also allows you to focus on exactly what you want to achieve before work starts on the project. Finally, a good design brief will ensure that you get a high quality design that meets your needs.
Below you will be able to see my own design brief. I feel like my design brief is clear, concise and well laid out. The person receiving it will hopefully be able to fur fill my expectations. Furthermore will also be able to produce a well thought out and highly detailed poster, with the information provided in my design brief. On the other hand i may need to provide additional information to my class mate when i go on and design the advertisement. Overall the process of making the design brief was good, i had a few hick ups along the way. For example on in-design i didn't realise when making an image smaller or bigger you had to select the inner image. What is meant by this is that you have you double click on the image, this will bring up an orange border box. Once you see an orange border box you will be able to make your image smaller and bigger. After working this out i had no big problems, and went through the rest of the work with ease.
