When i started the project i had prior knowledge, this included the knowledge of knowing how to use multiple different adobe software's. In addition, in these software's i knew several skills that would help me when it came to completing this project. Although i had obtained these skills prior to the project i still learned a number of knew ones that i used throughout this project. In this project i have learned how to create outlines on adobe photo-shop and adobe illustrator. Another skill i have learned is the ability to evidence all the work that i have completed. Before this project i would always forget to evidence the work i have completed. This was something that i wanted to work on and i really feel like i have made sure all work completed has been evidenced on my wix. My favourite design program is adobe photo-shop, this was my favourite throughout my previous year. The reason i like this program is because it gives me the ability to sketch ideas and then if they turn into my final production i can then edit it on the same software. I find that adobe illustrator has the same ability but on this software you are unable to edit work like you would be able to on adobe photo-shop. In this project i have enjoyed the majority of the design activities but when it came to the actual designing for our partner, that's when the true excitement was reached. I enjoyed this because there was an element of freedom when it came to this side of the project, i could attempt to please my partner with multiple different approaches. These all had to meet his briefs of course.

I have researched multiple things on this project, these range from going onto the internet to going into my local town and gather research from there. Out of these too research types i think going into my local town was the most beneficial. This was because it clearly showed me how not to advertise my brand and also gave me pointers in the right direction. This means the stores showed me different ways i could advertise and ways i couldn't advertise. Out of the two, primary and secondary research. I find obtaining secondary research the better one. This is because everything you need is online so i could find all the secondary research i could ever need. But compared to primary research there might be a time where i go to find some primary research but unfortunately i couldn't find any due to the place i go or even because nothing at the place i went to displays the things i need to conduct primary research. This highlights the reasoning why i would choose secondary research over primary.  Both types of research has helped me develop my work. In this project there were numerous amounts of times i was stuck on something and had to turn to secondary research to find that solution to my problem. So without secondary research i wouldn't of been able to carry on with the work i was working on. This also relates to primary research as when i conducted primary research it clearly showed me how i shouldn't display my advertisement. Earlier i mentioned that adobe photo-shop was my favourite software to use but throughout this project i have been using adobe illustrator and have learned a number of new skills on this software. One of theses skills includes typography. Below you will be able to see the work i have produced using this skill.
