Background Design
Looking at this background design it is clear to see that they have mainly focused their time on the main Fanta logo and have used a solid colour for
background design. By looking at the labels it
enables me to see how i could lay out my own Fanta
label. It shows me different ways i can lay out the
nutritional facts and other various features that build
up a label. The main logo on these Fanta logos are
really bold and the designer has done a really good
job at making them be the main focus point upon the
page. This is something that i would want to do
when it comes to my Fanta label. The Fanta logo will
be the centre point of the logo so making it stand out
and be very eye catching will help my Fanta label stick
out from the rest. Finally, it is interesting to see the
colours they have used, the designer has made sure
to stick to a colour scheme. This is something that i
will talk about further in on this project. Sticking to
a certain colour scheme will enable my Fanta label not look to complicated and also it will follow the certain factors that build up a good Label design.
The next piece of label design i have found is this lager. This background is very unique and i don't think i have ever seen anything like it. The work
is fun and interesting it uses bright colours to catch
peoples eyes. This is something that i would like to
create when it comes to creating my own Fanta
background. I am going to use bright colours and
interesting illustrations to entice people in. Another
feature that i find interesting is the fact that the
typography is involved within the illustrations. Each
piece of typography in this work on the right hand side
complements the illustration really well. By using
typography it can add extra details to my work that i
never knew were missing. If i was to create an
interesting background design i would need a
unique typography design. Overall there are certain features that the designer has used that i find interesting and unique and going forward it will be interesting to see how i could use these techniques to further my own Background design.
The final design i have found is unique to the ideas that i have for my own Fanta bottle. As you can see the design on the cans wraps all the way
around the design. This is something that i had
thought of at the start of this project. Along with
the mountain theme, i was going to create a mountain
theme that uses colours relevant to my flavour.
Another interesting factor about this design is that it
uses a rectangle to place the information regarding
the contents of the can. This is something that i might
have to include what is something that i don't
necessarily want to. With my design i want viewers
to be able to see my illustrations i have used to build
up with the background of the label. Thinking about it
i could use that technique of the rectangle but i could
turn the opacity down so it allows people to still see
my deign. Finally, on the can i feel that the colours
used don't go to well together and i find that the logo
is hard to spot. When it comes to designing my own
Fanta label i want to the logo to be the first thing you see. So in this sense i won't be using some of the techniques this designer has used.
